Pull up a chair in my domestic church and let's talk
I have worn many labels (Not in any particular order): Catholic, Wife, Mom,Gramma, Doctor, Major, Soccer Mom, Military Wife, Fellow. All of these filter my views of the world. I hope that like St. Monica, I can through prayer, words and example, lead my children and others to Faith.

Counting Blessings 2011
My son made it home from Afghanistan for a little R&R. He will head back after Thanksgiving, but we are counting our blessings that he gets to share Thanksgiving with us.
Thank you, Dr. Hunnell, for posting these pictures. I am so glad that your son was able to come home for a few days. Does this mean that all of your children will be under one roof on Thanksgiving Day? If so, please take some pictures and post them here on your blog site. I'm sure your many fans will enjoy seeing those pictures.
2011 has been a rough year for you. You lost your Mom. Your son battled the enemies of our republic and your husband battled serious illness. Through it all, you were somehow able to find the time to inspire your blog fans with your writing. Thank you. You and your family will be in my prayers on Thanksgiving and throughout the year. God bless.
