KITCHEN TABLE CHATS

Pull up a chair in my domestic church and let's chat!

I have worn many labels (Not in any particular order): Catholic, Wife, Mom,Gramma, Doctor, Major, Soccer Mom, Military Wife, Professor, Fellow.

All of these filter my views of the world. I hope that like St. Monica, I can through prayer, words and example, lead my children and others to Faith.
"The important thing is that we do not let a single day go by in vain without putting it to good use for eternity"--Blessed Franz J├Ągerst├Ątter

Getting Ready for New Mass Translation

Has your parish begun the preparation for the new Mass translation?

Denise, Rose gave us a pep talk at choir practice last Wed., since the choir will play a crucial role in introducing members of the parish to the new translation. It will be a challenge, but I'm really looking forward to it!

When is this new translation to take place? We've heard NOTHING and I doubt that we will. Our pastor isn't so big on catechesis. (Now, the associate has a full page in each week's bulletin on "why we do what we do at Mass." But he's not the one in charge.)
